my inner diva

I have this semi secret obsession of watching "keeping up with the Kardashians" and "Kimora's fab Life"... You know why I love these shows? I love looking at their hair styles and clothes. Seriously, I love it! I know they are so emotionally disfunctional, but I kinda look past that. I also think that I would totally be like them in the fact that, I would have a ton of stilettos and dresses and the top jean brands! For sure! I have this love of fashion, even though I don't have the best style now. Does that make sense. I kinda watch these shows for inspiration. I just noticed something. These women have olive skin like me, brown hair and eyes like me. So, trying to mock their styles in a modest tone, is totally realistic for me. like I hate seeing dark women trying to be platinum blond. It always comes out as an orange color. Or a super pale girl who just died her hair pitch black. ugh! It blows me away that someone would pay for that. But whatever. Ok see, right there! My inner diva just showed her ultra fab face. But seriously, I love seeing women look nice because I know, that the way you look outside reflects how you feel on the inside. When we dress nice and our makeup is presentable, we feel powerful and confident. If you don't believe me, I will give you a "make over" or in some cases a "make Under"... and you will see that when I am done, you will feel even more beatiful!

This was my little fish yesterday at the pool. She was patiently waiting for us to go into the pool with her..

new kid on the block

So, Here I am starting a blog that only I will probably read. :) I guess that will lessen any pressure that I have put on myself. Anyways, I am still pretty excited. So lets just jump right in.

Let me start by introducing our story. Mr.Red is my 6'4, red headed husband of 3 yrs. We met at church and we were married 9 months later. We married in the San Diego LDS Temple in 07 and were blessed with a little princess in July 08. She is my "Lil Princess" to the core. She is so beautiful and funny. She has blond hair and blue eyes, fair skin. Her coloring looks nothing like mine. I have olive toned skin, brown eyes and hair. However, no matter what anyone says, I think she looks like me :) You just need to look past the color. ;)

Mr. Red is going to school for his masters in forensic accounting (look it up) and also working full time as a stock broker. He just recently got licensed. He is such a smart and hard worker. On top of all that he is an amazing father and husband. Even when he forgets to do his own dish's! Yes, I believe that he should help out around the house. See, I work full time too. I work at a doctors office as a receptionist and I am also a Mary Kay beauty consultant. My goal is to someday soon work my MK business full time. My dream is to stay home and raise my daughter the way I want her to be raised and also be a good wife and Kimberly. I want to do all that and still bring in income and have "me" time with fun women! I love the fact that I will have the chance to do something I love, and it will help alleviate some stress and pressure off my husbands shoulder. After all, why should he bare this financial burden alone?

So this is our story in a nut shell. I will continue later.
